When you book an in-person consultation or lesson with A Dog’s Life, here’s what to expect so we can make the most of our time together: Where we’ll meet: We’ll come to you—at your home or a nearby agreed-upon spot within our service area. If you’re outside our travel zone, we’ll reach out to talk about virtual options instead. Be ready: We ask that you're home, on time, and have your dog leashed and ready to roll. Try to limit distractions like toys, food bowls, or visitors so your dog can focus and get the most out of the session. Need to cancel or reschedule? No problem—just give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee or forfeiting the session. Weather stuff: If the weather's extreme (too hot, stormy, unsafe for the dog or trainer), we’ll reschedule. We always put safety first. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
